The most horrible company I've ever dealt with: PayPal..my story
I am going to keep this blog post SHORT - because I am beyond frustrated. This morning I woke up to a lovely email from PayPal... Let me see if I can insert the email..
It starts off in BIG BOLD LETTERS:
You can no longer use PayPal
"After a review, we decided to permanently limit your account as we found potential risk associated with it. |
As a result, we can no longer offer PayPal services to you. |
Any bank or credit card information that’s linked to your PayPal account cannot be removed nor can it be added to another account. You can still log in and see your account information but you can’t send or receive money. |
If you have funds in your PayPal balance, it will be held for up to 180 days. After that, we’ll email you with information on how to access your funds." ................. If you have ever tried to contact PayPal customer service - - it's a joke. So I took the matter to Twitter... and noticed many other people had their account closed today. It's most likely an programming error - from PayPal - but that doesn't change the fact that MY account (which has been in good standing for over 15 years) was closed forever. I reached out to PayPal on Twitter, but the odds of hearing back from them, and getting any help - is slim to none. Thankfully I didn't have any money in my PayPal account; I feel bad for those people who DO have funds they can't access. It's a shame. PayPal is a company I will never do business with again. |

The People Who Have Passed On...
My dad died at 60. I am sad about that. I hope and wish he is in a BETTER place. I'm certain he is. Yesterday was my Grandma (Baba's) Birthday. She died at 95 or 96. I miss her so much. She loved gambling. She loved Palace Station.
So many people are gone.
I have my mom, and my brother. That's all. I hope my mom lives a long time. But she smokes - so who knows.
I'd be happy if she makes to 75.
Moral of the story...appreciate people while there are here.
Don't treat people the way I was treated. No one on Earth deserves that.
The Rain
I love the rain. I miss the rain. I use to live in Washington State, and the rain-storms would calm my soul like nothing else. I miss the cool climate, I miss the clouds, the air, the Puget Sound. I miss Seattle. I miss my little house. I miss so much.
Life now is.....different.
It's hot, and busy - - and this city is one - that I am TRYING to make my home... But it's difficult.
Life is funny. Sometimes you need to be in a different place, to see things from a different perspective; and then - you can appreciate what you had.
I do have a nice life here in Las Vegas. And I am very grateful for the things I have - and my family. But it's sad when you know where your true home is.
