ReplyDeleteThis is true. But the two have become linked together for your average person. And the Christian fath believes that prayer is a form of worship.

So since the average American has some form of Is judao Christian belief system instilled in them(don't kill, respect your parents, etc...) they will also have that connection between prayer and worship. Seeing them as linked. I would suggest if you describe your use of prayer that you might want to make it clear that you are not worshiping. Since you are taking the time to explain it you don't want people getting confused and the wrong impression of what you mean. That can cause some real problems.
